Pepcid AC Uses Pepcid AC is in a class of drugs called histamine receptor antagonists. Pepcid AC works by decreasing the amount of acid the stomach produces.
How To Use Pepcid AC Take Pepcid AC exactly as directed on the package or as directed by your doctor. If you do not understand these directions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you. Take each dose with a full glass of water.

Pepcid AC Side Effects This drug may cause following serious side effects : an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or hives), easy or unusual bruising or bleeding, bleeding gums, irregular heartbeat, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or a rash. Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take Pepcid AC and talk to your doctor if you experience dizziness, headache, or diarrhea, nausea, or constipation.
Pepcid AC Precautions Tell you doctor if
you have kidney disease, or liver disease. Pepcid AC should not be used without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning a pregnancy.
